Ustroń is situated at the north-western edge of the Beskid ¦l±ski mountains, in the valley ca. 15 km downstream the sources of Vistula, the largest river in Poland. Ustroń, together with nearby Wisła, constitutes one of the most popular recreation complexes for inhabitants of the Upper Silesian industrial region. Its has good train connection with Katowice, the capital of the Upper Silesia.
