| Basin of Gardno Lake is filled by organic deposits lying on the bottom sands. In prevailing part of the lake immediately on sands are laing peats of thickness from few cm to 3m, covered by gyttja. Considerable area S of lake is occupied by peatbog with peat thickness of 2-6m. | |
